Lies, Damn Lies, and declassified FBI documents

Why do you believe what you believe? Because... at some point in your life you trusted the information that somebody was giving you, and that someone you trusted told you that a car was a car, a tree was a tree, a bird was a bird, the blue stuff above you is the sky and that's the way that we began to determine what we believe to be a fact.

Most the the things that we believe to be a fact in our lives are told to us through our stories and the news that we hear.
Intro to the documentary Out of Shadows

We were told that Lt. General (3-star) Michael Flynn, who was briefly the National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump at the beginning of his presidency, spoke with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak several times on December 29th, 2016, after the election but before the inauguration. We were also told that Flynn may have informed the Russian Ambassador that the Russians need not worry about the sanctions that the Obama administration announced that same day, expeling 35 Russian officials and to forcing the closure (or seizing) of Russian-owned compounds in Maryland and New York.

Flynn resigned Feb. 13th 2017, saying he had inadvertently mislead Vice President Mike Pence about the nature of these conversations with Ambassador Kislyak, providing incomplete information due to what he termed his haste.

We were told that high-ranking Intelligence officials like Gen. Flynn should not have conversations with diplomats posted to the USA.
We were told Flynn may have had colluded with the Russians on behalf of President Trump.
We were assured this was all true because Gen. Flynn agreed to a plea bargan, pleading guilty to lying to an FBI agent (did you know that was a felony? Not perjury in court under oath, but lying during a meeting or interview.) The lies allegedly took place during a Jan. 24th, 2017 meeting at the White House, 4 days into the new Presidency.

Then the Mueller investigation found no Russian collusion.
No charges against Trump or Flynn, or anyone.
Then the Party of death, the Democrats impeached Trump in January 2020, this time for talking with the leader of the Ukrane. Perhaps the party of death thought Ukraine was close enough to Russia.

But the story was not complete, the news was not finished coming out.
Now we are finding out that;
1. Recently declassified FBI documents from the Jan. 24th, 2017 meeting at the White House with General Flynn, conducted by FBI officers Peter Strzok and Joseph Pientka, show that the agents notes, called a 302 report, indicated that Flynn was not lying.
2. Other declassified FBI documents show that FBI Director Christopher Wray concealed exculpatory evidence of FBI and DOJ misconduct that favored General Flynn.
3. The original attorneys representing Gen. Flynn, from the DC law firm of Covington and Burling, did a poor job defending Flynn, perhaps intentionally since former President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder is a partner at this firm. "[I]t appears that Flynn’s original defense team, Covington & Burling, may have been in on the plot to frame him."

4. Part of the plea deal with Gen. Flynn, the secret part, kept from the Judge, was that the FBI promised not to pursue any investigation of Gen. Flynn's son, who also runs a consulting business dealing with a lot of foreign nationals. The Judge was not made aware of this side deal.

5. According to investigative researcher John W. Huber, aka "Undercover Huber", "Stefan Halper - the portly spy who the FBI used to conduct espionage on the Trump campaign during the 2016 US election - may have sparked the Flynn investigation after lying to the FBI"

This all means that the FBI setup a perjury trap, to ensnare Flynn, even noting the intent to force Flynn to lie or at least get fired by Trump.

It started with a FISA lie, used the lie of a special prosecution to cover the lies about withholding evidence and the perjury trap setup, and it is time for these lies to stop.

"Comey’s FBI decided that they didn’t like the American people’s choice for president so they lied and cheated to spy on him and his campaign, collaborated to spray him and his administration with a golden shower of lies that they knew were lies, and then, when all that failed, decided to try to set-up an innocent man to be fired or tossed in prison for the crime of being in the opposite political camp."

Certain People from the FBI involved in this need to go to jail!

Then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein instructed Special Counsel Robert Mueller in August 2017 to investigate allegations against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page that originated with the Steele dossier and had already been discredited by the FBI, a newly declassified memo showed Wednesday night.

By the time that instruction was given, the FBI had fired Steele as an informant for leaking, interviewed Steele's sub-source who disputed information attributed to him and had ascertain that allegations Steele had given the FBI specifically about Page were inaccurate and likely came from Russian intelligence sources as disinformation, recently declassified evidence showed.

Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said "In other words, a bunch of lies paid for by the Democrats were used to engineer the appointment of a Special Counsel to drag the Trump administration through the mud for years. The Russia collusion hoax was a disgrace, and we can’t let anything like it ever be repeated."

As Sara Carter detailed last week, U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan unsealed four pages of stunning FBI emails and handwritten notes which allegedly revealed that the retired three star general was targeted by senior FBI officials for prosecution. Those notes and emails revealed that the retired three-star general appeared to be set up for a perjury trap by the senior members of the bureau and agents charged with investigating the now-debunked allegations that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia, said Sidney Powell, the defense lawyer representing Flynn.

Robert Mueller and his prosecutors lied. Michael Flynn did not. It is that simple.

I suspect most of you reading this have never read the Statement of Offense. I am going to let you read for yourself the salient portions:

...

b. On or about December 28, 2016, the Russian Ambassador contacted FLYNN.

c. On or about December 29, 2016, FLYNN called a senior official of the Presidential Transition Team ("PTT official"), who was with other senior members of the Presidential Transition Team at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, to discuss what, if anything, to communicate to the Russian Ambassador about the U.S. Sanctions. On that call, FLYNN and the PTT official discussed the U.S. Sanctions, including the potential impact of those sanctions on the incoming administration's foreign policy goals. The PIT official and FLYNN also discussed that the members of the Presidential Transition Team at Mar-a-Lago did not want Russia to escalate the situation.

d. Immediately after his phone call with the PIT official, FLYNN called the Russian Ambassador and requested that Russia not escalate the situation and only respond to the U.S. Sanctions in a reciprocal manner.

e. Shortly after his phone call with the Russian Ambassador, FLYNN spoke with the PTT official to report on the substance of his call with the Russian Ambassador, including their discussion of the U.S. Sanctions.

...

Got that?
