From Lee at 40 Days for Life:
22,330 Twenty-two thousand three hundred and thirty little boys and girls have been killed on Pleasant Street since we started praying outside this location in 2010. Take a minute to think about that number. It’s mind-boggling. And this doesn’t include the 2019 abortion numbers which won’t be released for another month or so. As Christians we have to take a peaceful, public stand against this horror.
Mar 15 Sun 2-3pm Pure in Heart will be leading prayer and worship outside of Planned Parenthood, 1055 Commonwealth Ave. in Boston, MA, in collaboration with 40 Days for Life in an effort to pray for the unborn, witness to the dignity and sacredness of every life, and offer mercy and love to our world. Check out our Facebook event!

Augustine’s prayer
“Guiding my mind by the rule of faith, I have sought you with all my heart, with all the power you have given me. I have longed to understand that which I believe.
“O Lord, my God, my only hope, listen to me. Don’t let my weariness lessen my will to seek you, to seek your face forever.
“You made me to find you; give me strength to seek you. My strength and my weakness are in your hands: preserve my strength and help my weakness. Where you have opened the door, let me enter in; where it is shut, open to my knocking.
“Let me ever increase in remembering you, understanding you, loving you, until you restore me to your perfect pattern.” (On the Trinity. XXVIII. 51)
Hat Tip to Br. Paul for this.

Chris Young, a strong voice for the unborn in RI for the last twenty years suffered a heart attack while driving home after giving an impassioned testimony in front of the Rhode Island House Judiciary Committee on Feb. 25th. His wife Kara unbuckled herself and took control of the steering wheel, but the car flipped. Kara and their six year old daughter Mary were unharmed, but Chris was pronounced dead at the hospital. A GoFundme page with a modest goal of $50k has been setup to help with funeral and burial costs, as well as to give Chris' daughter the type of care, housing and education Chris was ready to give her.
