Off Centering Prayer - part 2
In a previous post, Off-Centering Prayer - part 1 We discussed the four degrees of Ordinary Prayer; vocal; meditation; affective; and prayer of simplicity, the last two of which border on the mystical states. Also how Contemplative prayer is above and beyond ordinary prayer.
It is important to remember that because of concupiscence, there are 3 axioms about humanity
1. We have an infinite capacity for self-delusion
2. Our Self-assessments tend always to be towards what we aspire to and not what we are
3. We give ourselves credit for good intentions

If you live in the district or have friends or family members please vote or ask them to vote for McCarthy for Republican State Committee Man in the 1st Worcester District which consists of the Towns of Boylston, Clinton, precincts 3 and 4, Holden, Northborough, precincts 1, 2 and 4, Princeton West Boylston, and the City of Worcester Wards 1 to 4, inclusive, Ward 8, precincts 2 to 4, inclusive, Wards 9 and 10. to look up your town.
