Mar 6 Ash Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm 40 Days for Life Opening Night Candlelight Vigil
Please BYOC (Bring Your Own Candle). Thanks to our 12-hour challenge and to the generous response of about 50 of our regular vigilers, we are doing pretty well with vigil sign-ups. However, we could really use help with the following shifts:
Thursday, March 7th: 12, 1, 2, 5 & 6pm
Friday, March 8th: 10am, 12, 1, 3, & 4pm
Monday, March 11th: 12, 2, 3, & 5pm
Tuesday, March 12th: 11am, 12, 1, 2, & 3pm
Can YOU fill one of these hours so we can have continuous prayer in front of Planned Parenthood? Contact Lee Crowley for details, or 40 Days web site

Mar 7 Thu 6:30pm Mass in English, Our Lady of Czestochowa, Worcester. FIRST THURSDAY - PRAYER FOR PRIESTS, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. We will pray the Rosary, other prayers, and there will be a silent time for personal prayer. A priest will be available for Confession during that time. Our evening will end at 8:00 pm with Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
“If there was ever a need to pray and sacrifice for priests for their preservation and sanctity, it is today. Praying for priests has been the practice of the Church since apostolic times. We read in the Acts of the Apostles: ‘Peter therefore was kept in prison. But prayer was made without ceasing by the church unto God for him.’”
“Through prayer we gain graces for priests which otherwise they would not obtain.” (quotes from Our Lady of the Rosary Library, Prospect, KY)
