Pro-Family Alert, Planned Parenthood at Worcester School Committee meeting 12/20/2018

Word on the Worcester Public School front is that the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts attended an "Organizing Meeting: Worcester Youth Deserve Comprehensive Sex Ed" at Friendly House (36 Wall Street) last Friday night (12/14).
Worcester School Committee member Dante Comparetto has submitted an item for this Thursday's (December 20th) School Committee meeting: "Request that the Administration provide an update of the Sex Education unit in the Health Education curriculum." (item gb #8-369).
This item will likely be referred to the Standing Committee on Teaching, Learning and Student Supports, to be discussed at a later date. It will be very important for those interested in this issue - or as many of them as possible - to attend the standing committee meeting. There is typically a weeks notice on when those Standing Committee meetings will occur and I will update as soon as I know.
Apparently Planned Parenthood wants to pressure the Worcester Public Schools to adopt a "Comprehensive Sex Ed" curriculum, and possibly to try once more to encourage implementation of the "Making Proud Choices" curriculum. This is what they have done elsewhere.

If you are a Worcester resident, Please try to;
1. Contact School Committee members to reaffirm concern about the content of the "Making Proud Choices" curriculum.
2. Attend the Thursday December 20th School Committee meeting at Worcester City Hall Council Chamber, 7PM. We do not anticipate a need for a big crowd of supporters at this meeting.
3. Stay tuned to an announcement on the date and time of the Standing Committee on Teaching, Learning and Student Supports meeting. It would be more important to attend this meeting than the one Dec. 20th, in order to counter any Planned Parenthood supporters that are being brought in to pressure Worcester to implement a more aggressive, more graphic, more explicit Sex Ed curriculum than is currently taught.

Dec 20 Thu 7pm, Worcester School Committee meeting Worcester City Hall Council Chamber. Stop Planned Parenthood.

“[Homosexuality is] not just an expression of an affection. In consecrated and priestly life, there’s no room for that kind of affection." There's more!

Left-wing legislation coming to Massachusetts could include; the Counseling Ban, Health Curriculum, and Safe Communities Act to promote homosexuality and transgender confusion, as well as legislation to get rid of parental consent laws for abortion for minors. RenewMA Coalition is working to stop them. But they could use some help, contributions are down after the election, and we all need to be engaged and willing to oppose the radical left on Beacon Hill. Donations will be matched through the end of the year.

Supreme Court will NOT hear a case involving the State's right to defund Planned Parenthood, and Justice Kavanaugh voting with Progressives… This is not the end of the battle, and as Anne Fox, President, Massachusetts Citizens for Life said, “There are enough things over which to be justly outraged... We don't need to create a storm over this.”

There will be no more 1st Friday Masses in the Problem Pregnancy Chapel, nor overnight Eucharist adoration, as I am unable to maintain this devotion. 1st Saturday Masses will continue, as will these emails.

WORDS WORTH 1000 MEMES (#91): HUMAN FULLNESS
“In Jesus Christ the creation of man first attains its true goal; in him the Creator’s conception of man finds its full expression; in him the beast that lurks in all of us is overcome for the first time, and the human in its fullness comes on the stage of history.” (Excerpt from Dogma and Preaching, pp. 22-23)
