Life Chain Oct 1, Pro-Life Politics

Catholic Vote Summary:
Senate Republicans bailed on their health care bill, so no reform to Obamacare this year.
49 Republican Senators tried to unwind the disastrous and immoral Obamacare, to Abolished the individual & employee mandates forcing abortion related service payments on everyone including the poor, to Defunded Planned Parenthood, government subsidiezed abortions. The bill was abandoned because it fell at least one vote short. We could blame Republicans John McCain (AZ), Rand Paul (KY), Susan Collins (ME), and Lisa Murkowski (AK) but do not forget that not a single Senate Democrat supported reform. Let's emphasize...and every Democrat Healt Insurance plan includes taxpayer-funded abortion. Health insurance premiums of millions of hard-working American families will continue to skyrocket.
With that in mind remember this list of the most vulnerable Senators up for re-election next year:
Missouri: Pro-abortion “Catholic” Claire McCaskill
Indiana: “Catholic” Joe Donnelly claims he’s pro-life but votes to fund Planned Parenthood. He also invests in companies that outsource jobs to Mexico.
Pennsylvania: Allegedly “pro-life Democrat” Robert Casey, Jr. continues to betray Catholic voters despite his father’s proud pro-life legacy.
Montana: Current NARAL backed Democratic Senator Jon Tester openly supports abortion. His probable opponent? Matt Rosendale, proud Catholic and defender of life. Trump won Montana 56%-35%.
North Dakota: “Catholic” Heidi Heitkamp is unabashed in her support for abortion. She has also voted against restoring religious liberty protections for Catholic schools and hospitals. Trump won here 63%-27%.
Democrats must also defend Senate seats in every rust belt state won by Trump (WI, MI, PA, OH) next year.

P.S. It’s not all bad news. Just today, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA, announced a vote on protecting children in the womb. The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would prevent abortions on children in the 5th month of pregnancy and beyond.
The vote in the House is not expected to be difficult. They passed this same legislation two years ago.
The battle, it always seems, is in the Senate.

Illinois governor Rauner won election in 2014 by promising voters he would focus on the fiscal mess in Illinois -- and remain neutral on social issues. Yet, despite giving his word he would veto the law, he signed a new law authorizing taxpayer funding for abortion, for any reason. IL needs a new Gov. Call his office at 217-782-0244 or 312-814-2121.

Please consider signing the Pro-Life Appeal to Cardinal O’Malley and All Massachusetts Bishops to stop honoring Pro-abortion politicians.

DAY 48 - MARY, QUEEN OF THE FAMILY, PRAY FOR US of the 54-day Novena for our Nation
SHOCK TROOPS
KING: As Jean-Baptiste Chautard recounts in his book The Soul of the Apostolate, Pope St. Pius X was conversing with a group of his cardinals one day. The pope asked them:
"What is the thing we most need, today, to save society?"
"Build Catholic schools," said one.
"No."
"More churches," said another.
"Still no."
"Speed up the recruiting of priests," said a third.
"No, no," said the pope, "the most necessary thing of all, at this time, is for every parish to possess a group of laymen who will be at the same time virtuous, enlightened, resolute, and truly apostolic."
Chautard continues, "Further details enable us to assert that this holy pope at the end of his life saw no hope for the salvation of the world unless the clergy could use their zeal to form faithful Christians full of apostolic ardor, preaching by word and example, but especially by example. In the diocese where he served before being elevated to the papacy, he attached less importance to the (count) of parishioners than to the list of Christians capable of radiating an apostolate. It was his opinion that shock troops could be formed in any environment."

9th of 12 Cardinals and Bishops Condemn Gender Theory Madness. Great Quotes.
Most Rev. Frederick Bernard Henry, Bishop of Calgary, Alberta -- Canada
“What is at stake [in the fight against gender theory] is the very order of creation [...]

“The primordial divine plan was spoken of clearly by Christ himself: 'Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female?' (Mt.19:4). At the core we see the father and the mother, a couple with their personal story of love: 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh' (Gen.2:24). The result of this union is that, both physically and in the union of their hearts and lives, and eventually, in a child who will share not only genetically but also spiritually in the 'flesh' of both parents. The family is thus the place where parents become their children’s first teachers.”

God Bless America
