Natan also said that the Redemption is coming soon, and will be both good (protection) and bad (war and death). More good and less bad for those who repent, who stop committing transgressions and do more good works (mitzvot), and for those who do not repent, not so much - more of the bad. This will happen soon if the world continues as it does, unrepentant, committing transgressions against God.
