Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- When he visits the United States next month, Pope Benedict XVI is expected to hold Catholic colleges accountable that have invited pro-abortion speakers to campus. The pontiff has requested an audience with more than 200 top officials from Catholic universities and he is expected to make it clear they need to follow Church teachings.

Yeah Charasma,

But at least we will be at Heaven's gate, unlike you.

Ryan doesn't want to accept the medical facts which show that homosexual sex is dangerous not just for the soul but for the body:

This is nothing but denial.

Thanks for your concern Marie but it is a free country and it is our decision to make. This is one thing you cannot control.

By the way, the research you cite is grossly biased as is the source. Were you to show info that is from a thrid party not vested in the argument it would have more weight for consideration.

This dicussion is really mean spirited on both sides. This is not a good thing. Someone put a stop to it!

I don't see where the discussion is "mean spirited" on both sides. Gene Atonio wrote an entire book which was published by Ignatius Press and which details the horrific health effects of the homosexual "lifestyle." Likewise, the CDC can hardly be accused of being politics-driven or "mean-spirited" when it details the health problems associated with homosexual acts.

If anyone has been "mean-spirited" it has been John Hosty. Where were your objections when this character was slandering Catholics? You were strangely silent then.

Telling the truth about the health effects of homosexual acts is not "mean-spirited." It is an uncomfortable truth for some. But not mean-spirited.

And what of John Hosty's labelling this site a hate group? Is that mean-spirited too?

John Hosty said...

"And what of John Hosty's labelling this site a hate group? Is that mean-spirited too?"

I never said this was a hate group, I said MassResistance.com was. I also said that I noted Jay's support of that group, nothing more.

Not once have I insulted you william, who cannot say the same. Your hate for me is most alarming. You should ask yourself if God motivates what you are doing.

John Hosty writes, "I never said this was a hate group." That is a lie. At his Blog, he compares DTF with Fred Phelps and his organization. He lists both JayG and Paul M as propagandists for hate. And he has has accused those of us who come here of "supporting hate" - the first comment at this thread. John is a liar.

Moreover, he has continuously engaged in calumny against those of us who don't agree with his homosexual ideology.

All of this has been documented at this Blog.

Michael Cole said...

Mr. Hosty began this discussion with his comment that, "MassResistance.com is now listed as a Hate group. Your public support of hatred has been noted."

Now, at his Blog, he writes:

"As a side note Jay Guillette is a proud supporter of massresistance..com, a hate group listed with the Southern Poverty Law Center, which was a group formed to help combat the Klu Klux Klan. My friends over at MassresistanceWatch have formed their own similar group that keeps an eye on their dishonesties while doing so with a little humor at Massresistance's expense.

My real question is whether or not we have our own Fred Phelps type group here in Massachusetts, and are people like Jay Guilette responsible for it? Read on for your self at the links provided and see what you think.

Paul Melanson is another person who supports hate as seen in his latest article:

Homosexuals in the Third Reich"

When has Mr. Melanson ever supported hate? When Has Mr. G? I have not seen one Blog post or comment from either one of them that is supportive of hatred. There were many homosexuals in the Third Reich and homosexuality played a significant role in Nazi ideology as many scholars have documented. Saying so has nothing to do with supporting hatred.

Like Mr. Melanson, Mr. G has also provided us with Church teaching on homosexuality. His post on Socrates and his response to the problem of homosexuality has nothing to do with supporting hatred.

I call upon Mr. Hosty to cease spreading falsehoods and attacking the reputations of fine Cahtolics.

John Hosty said...

I have called MassResistance a hate group, and I have called out those people who support them. If you don't like that type of attention then don't let it be true.

If you can't find hate here from Catholics to GLBT people you simply are refusing to see it.

Whether you want to acknowledge the truth or not dies not hide the facts from others.

Indeed, the truth of our interactions can be found here for all to read. One should always keep themselves informed.

I'll kick the ball back to you William, would you be offended if someone asked you if you were a pediphile? Let me hear you say that you don't think asking that question was an overt attempt to offend me, I just want to see you say that.

That should make it obvious to anyone reading that you are dishonest. I still forgive your actions and love you as Christ would have me, but I don't approve of your dishonest methods of argument. Christ doesn't need liars to come to His defense, nor does He need to be defended from His children. Your actions are yours, not His, and you should take the blame they merit, just like Jay and Paul should.

Review my article and let me know what I've said that is incorrect and I will consider updating it.

I love cock.

John Hosty said...

While I find things that William have said vulgar I doubt he wrote that last comment. I wish people would post under their own names and not someone else's.

Anonymous said...

If you consider William's questions to be vulgar, you ae firced to concede that actually DOING the things he mentions is even more vulgar.

If merely speaking about rectal sex is "vulgar," how much more vulgar is actually engaging in it.

I believe this is the point William was trying to make. That and the fact that you didn't mind asking sarcastic questions of Jay. Perhaps you should refrain from asking sarcastic questions in the future if you don't want sarcastic questions asked of you? And perhaps you should ask yourself this question: If I consider merely speaking about rectal sex to be "vulgar," should I engage in it? If I do, am I not engaging in vulgarity?

Anonymous said...

In the last comment, it should read "are forced" in the firs paragraph. Keyboard must have sticked.

John Hosty said...

you're right John, maybe he does love cock.

I'll wait for his explanation.

John Hosty said...

As it has been pointed out before rectal sex, anal licking and the like are not a solely homosexual activity. I see little point bringing it into the conversation.

Anonymous said...

Speaking of William, Mr. Hosty writes, "maybe he does love cock." Is this charitable dialogue? I think not. I had the same said of me a while back and Jay graciously deleted the comment.

Sad.

John Hosty said...

I had said:

"I'll kick the ball back to you William, would you be offended if someone asked you if you were a pediphile? Let me hear you say that you don't think asking that question was an overt attempt to offend me, I just want to see you say that."

and also:

"Review my article and let me know what I've said that is incorrect and I will consider updating it."

The comment William makes, "I love dick" was inappropriate and I assumed he did not make it, but perhaps I was wrong.
