Fall girl

For the record, I saw Larry Cirgano approach Ms. Loy at the "Let the people vote" rally in front of Worcester City Hall yesterday. I was about 15 feet to Ms. Loy's right, up a couple of steps with a clear view, and Larry had to move right in front of my field of vision as I was looking at the Speaker. So I saw the whole thing.

Ms. Loy, who was standing in front of our 'Let the People Vote' crowd, and was as close to the podium as about anyone was. I did not see Larry touch her, I saw her turn and run away quickly. When she was about 4-5 feet away from Larry, she took a dive to her right, at about a 75 degree angle from the direction and momentum both she and Larry were moving in. She went immediately into a fetal position.

She's wrong on two counts, Larry could not have pushed her to the ground because she was not in arms reach when she started to go down, and if Larry could have pushed her, she would have gone forward, not to the right at almost a right angle. Larry's momentum and direction would have made her go forward in a straigh line, not change her direction.

If this is the truth, and I know for fact it is not as I was there, what you need to do is give a sworn statement and appear in court under oath. See you there.

John don't even waste your time on this catholic scumbag. Right-wing religious biggots are xcellent liars and will lie even under oath.

Wow -Scratch the 1st sentence completely, substitute "left-wing liberal bigots" in your 2nd sentence and, if I were not averse to namecalling, I would agree with you, anon.

There is no such thing as a "Catholic Scumbag." A "scumbag" is a (rather vulgar, but then I'm trying to communicate on your level) term for a used condom.

As the Catholic Church recognizes condoms as a tool used to refuse cooperation with God in the miracle of conception, there can be no "Catholic Condom." (Or, to put it in your terms, a "Catholic Scumbag" cannot, logically, exist.)

You may also consider spelling the word "bigot" with one "g" and even think about putting an "e" before the "x" in "excellent."

I do hope I've cleared up this mistake and that my post has been helpful.

Can't you people PLEASE get a life. . . .a real one.

Who are we to believe, the reporter from the WTB or your lying eyes? My money is on the reporter. He's the one who agreed to show up in court already.

yeah, tell it to the judge.

you should also think about media law, and specifically libel laws. defaming Ms. Loy is potentially libelous, particularly as she has become something of a public figure.

you really ought to be more careful when you lie.

I am curious. How is it that you can continue to back up Larry Cirignano's lie when he has admitted to police he pushed her?

"Officers did not witness the incident, Worcester police spokesperson Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst told EDGE Dec. 19. If they had, they would have placed Cirignano under arrest on a misdemeanor charge, he said. "He’s already admitted that he touched her," Hazelhurst reported. Under Massachusetts law, a person can be charged with assault and battery by merely touching another person if the touch is unwanted, Hazelhurst explained. "He pushed her down and he admits that as well."

Geez...Jay -

Now I really regret missing the rally.

You didn't tell me that there'd be political theatre.

I'll go with the non-reporter everytime. The Blogosphere is notorious for taking down leftist hacks .. we may well mave a case right here in Central Mass.

Was this incident videotaped? If not it will be one side's word against the other.

I think a police spokesperson is going to have the facts straight. Scroll up and read my last comment.

I am curious. Why did you change the wording of this thread to omit your original claim: "So I saw the whole thing."

Perhaps you are starting to get cold feet about going into a courtroom and perjuring yourself? Your presence and testimony will of course refute my accusation.

It is noble to defend one's faith, but defending violence with lies is a far darker art.

My last post is confusing because I ment to say that as your threads progress you have forgotten to say "I saw the whole thing." I tried to correct my post, but Blogger is not working properly. Regardless, my point about your honesty will be refuted or confirmed at the hearing.

You are correct, your last post was confusing. And so was the one before that.

The hearing is set for Feb. 20, and since you are a testimony giving witness, we will see you there, right?

I haven't been contacted by Mr. Cirignano, but I can be there. Mr. Nangle's article this morning didn't give any details other than the date. Do you know if this will be in Worcester Court? Does the Magistrate call witnesses, or do the people involved tell their witnesses to just show up?

Oh, and Merry Christmas to you John, and everyone else.

What you should do is go down to the Worcester police station and give a sworn statement as to the events. Then you will be asked to appear in court as a witness. If what you say is true and you "saw the whole thing" then you have an obligation.

I was very intrigued with the comment regarding in impossibility of a catholic condom. Using that logic Catholic Pedophiles don’t exist either; I believe the American Legal system would say they do.
