The "Catholic" Campaign for Human Development, CCHD has a charter to donate to politcal and non-Catholic organizations that "work with the poor". Last year the CCHD had to stop funding for the voter fraud and prostitute promoting group ACORN (we await the forensic accounting report on that fiasco). This year, after calls from Catholic grass-roots organization Bellarmine Veritas Ministry, the CCHD defunded anti-life/pro-abortion groups such as the Chinese Progressive Association of San Fransico, which also supports same-sex marriage, the Rebecca Project for Human Rights, which worked with Planned Parenthood to sign a "wish-list" of reprductive rights, and Young Workers United, which in addition to same-sex marriage and abortion also promotes legalizing prostitution and whose 2008 Voting Guide counsels voters to vote against parental notification of abortion for minors. The Los Angeles Community Action Network, LA CAN, remains funded by CCHD even though LA CAN members worked with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force campaign to defeat Proposition 8, which repealed the right to marry for same-sex couples.
The CCHD continues to fund a long list of grantees, including PICO and the Woman's Community Revitalization PRoject, who are actively pushing for the current version of health care reform in Congress without qualifying that health care reform should not include federal funding for abortion.
The question is why are we even having this discussion concerning donations to CCHD? As Fr. Richard John Neuhaus (RIP) has said "The bishops could really help poor people by promptly shutting down [C]CHD and giving any remaining funds to, for instance, Catholic inner-city schools."

WBZ censors MCFL
Statement by Anne Fox, President, Massachusetts Citizens for Life, November 10, 2009
"Radio station WBZ, Boston's NBC affiliate, has refused to sell time to Massachusetts Citizens for Life to air ads on the health care plans. When asked to put their reasons in writing, the station declined.
"These ads and similar ads have already aired on WRKO in Boston, WTAG in Worcester, and WHYN in Springfield. They address abortion, rationing, and denial of care based on age or disability.
"At first WBZ told me that we had to substantiate our 'claims'. Even as I offered to do so, they decided they would not take the ads.
"This is a news station which should be dedicated to presenting all sides of an issue - especially one of such importance to their listening audience. The media, in general, is unquestioningly in favor of these bills, As a premier news station WBZ should be happy to air views that may not be exactly the same as theirs.
"When they hear the ad, I am sure people will agree that is a valuable addition to the health care debate"

Chief Master Sergeant John Gebhardt, USAF
He is a real Star of the war, and represents what America is trying to do.
This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Please keep this going. Nothing will happen if you don't, but the American public needs to see pictures like this and needs to realize that what we're doing over there is making a difference. Even if it is just one little girl at a time.

Bethlehem man allegedly put gun in girlfriend's mouth to convince her to get abortion
By Michael Buck
October 22, 2009, 11:03AM
A Bethlehem man faces charges after he put a gun in his girlfriend's mouth during an argument over whether she should have an abortion, court records say.
Jonathan Stock, 28, of the 3300 block of East Boulevard was arguing with Tammy Smith because he wanted her to get an abortion, records say. Stock initially pushed Smith against a wall and choked her, lifting her off her feet, court records say. Stock then threw Smith to the ground, grabbed her hair and pointed a .380-caliber pistol her in mouth and head and said he was going to kill her, records say.
Stock eventually let Smith go and she was able to run from the house. Police were called and Stock was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, making terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail

Ministry of Truth
A sleaze named Jack Huberman (aka the quotable atheist) wrote a book that claimed Rush Limbaugh said Martin Luther King Jr's assassin (James Earl Ray) should get the medal of honor. Trouble was Huberman did not attribute when or where Rush allegedly said this racist remark and still refuses to answer, because Rush never said this. So Huberman is a liar. But a lie goes half way around the world before the truth gets its shoes on, so CNN, MSNBC (including specifically Rachael Maddow) NYT and the major broadcast stations have all repeated this calumny. It's a sad day that totally false remarks, lies, can be repeated by the Ministry of Truth; the mainstream media including NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN, and of course the New York Times.
The sad truth to this story now that the lies have been exposed is many still maintain Rush is a racist, basically because he criticized Eagles quarterback Donavan McNab. That's a pretty scary standard.
Rush Limbaugh has always advocated the Pro-Life position strongly. These anti-life bigots should not only be sued, but we should all avoid helping them profit from lies by boycotting these anti-life news outlets!
Rush: "Looking toward the future, Limbaugh expressed optimism that Americans, perhaps many yet to be born, would reject the pro-choice rhetoric, saying it evinces a cavalier attitude toward life itself... Every generation has thought from the beginning of time ... it's living in the 'last days,' ... yet it's never doomed and it's never finished, and it's never over with, and why is that? Well, because there's always a new generation or two that have yet to be born that don't know any of this negative stuff. And they eventually do get born despite the pro-abortion crowd, and they grow up and they decide they want a certain life for themselves that may not include some of all this rotgut that current generations are facing."
