40 Days Bus Stop

40 Days for Life Fall campaign, THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF ABORTION outside the Worcester Planned Parenthood on Pleasant St.

#Protest Planned Parenthood has called for a national prayer vigil Saturday October 15 to sadly note the 100 year anniversary of the founding of Planned Parenthood by Margaret Sanger. Planned Parenthood not only is the largest provider of abortions in our country, but harvests aborted baby body parts as well. #Protest Planned Parenthood Worcester will join with America Needs Fatima who will be conducting a prayer vigil from 12 noon - 1:00 p.m. at Planned Parenthood, 470 Pleasant St., Worcester. Also participating will be 40 Days for Life Worcester. Whether you support one or all of these groups, please come to pray the rosary for our country and for an end to abortion and the end of the brutal practice of harvesting baby body parts.

SBA List Campaign Update
Presidential race:
We will be including more in-depth polling information on the presidential race next week in our monthly update, but it is clear that this race is tightening. In fact, according to the RealClearPolitics national average, Clinton leads by 2.9%, a percentage within the margin of error.

Senate:
The Senate continues to be a high priority for SBA List. In order to keep a pro-life majority, we must protect four seats, or five seats should Hillary Clinton win in November. SBA List continues our ground game in three crucial states: Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina.

- FL: Pro-life Senator Marco Rubio is holding a steady lead in his race, and is ahead by over 6%;
OH: Pro-life Senator Rob Portman continues to pull ahead. His race has been moved into the “likely R” category, and he leads on the average by over 13%;
NC: Pro-life Senator Richard Burr faces a much closer race. His pro-abortion opponent, Deborah Ross, leads on the average by 1%.
In addition to these races, SBA List is keeping an eye on several more highly contentious Senate battles:
- PA: Pro-life Senator Pat Toomey faces a very challenging race in this swing state. His pro-abortion opponent, Katie McGinty, is ahead on average by 1%;
- NH: Pro-life Senator Kelly Ayotte is one of the few pro-life women in the Senate. She has been performing better in the polls as of late, and finds herself ahead by 2.5%;
- NV: GOP Congressman Joe Heck is seeking to replace liberal Sen. Harry Reid. Currently the polling shows Heck ahead by 4%;
- IN: In this open seat to replace GOP Sen. Coats, GOP Rep. Tod Young and former Gov. Evan Bayh face off. Polling shows a tightening race, with Bayh ahead by 5.5%;
- MO: Pro-Life Senator Roy Blunt faces a difficult race and is currently ahead by a little over 3% on average;
- WI: Pro-life Senator Ron Johnson has been down in the polls for several weeks, but this race has seemed to tighten somewhat. The current average shows Johnson down by over 9%
