Scott Johnson of PowerLine has a good explanation of why so many voters chose Trump as the Republican Presidential nominee – basically because they are fed up; the conservatives, the pro-lifers, the fly-over parts of the country residents who could not vote Democrat found out they could not vote Republican either:

"They [Republicans] couldn’t stop the Iran deal. They couldn’t defund Planned Parenthood after it peddled baby parts. They never cut funding to the NEA as 'P*ss Christ,' 'Dung Madonna,' [and whole slew of other government funded pornography]...

"They[Republicans] couldn’t preserve religious freedom for nuns or cake bakers. They couldn’t keep creepy men out of women’s restrooms. They couldn’t keep Section 8 housing out of decent neighborhoods people moved to precisely to escape urban dysfunction...

"Can Trump win? How many genius prognosticators who say he will get creamed by Hillary also put money on him to fade in the primaries? Of course he can win. It’s what he does. Will we be better off? I don’t know. And neither do you. We have an electorate that voted Obama in twice and a culture of sleaze, slackers, tribal rather than national or even individual identity, and voracious entitlement, and therein lie much bigger problems than which depressing, preening narcissist gets elected this go-round.

Prayer Needs; Jean Murphy incurable blood cancer, Fred needs polyp removed, Michelle Kenny double Mastectomy, Chris Hanley who has synovial sarcoma metastasized to her lungs, Marikler with liver adenoma & her husband Eric with Crohn’s, Sara Ross, Antonin Scalia RIP, Jim Tisdell, Doan family, Rebecca with breast cancer, Mary Agnes thyroid, Camille cancer, Pricilla infection, Michelle Kenny 37 stage 4 cancers, Aline, a Congolese mom of a 2-year-old and a 36-week preemie is in bed with a corset, she had surgery at Memorial for her spine TB, which went well and is still on a heavy regimen of anti TB drugs by mouth. She walks now and lives at home and is able to take care of her children. Claude was able to get back to work. The baptism of their little boy was 3 weeks ago (mid Feb.2016) at St Andrews African community.
