Pro-Life reparation and healing

Jan 17-25 Nine Days of Prayer, Penance, & Pilgrimage Novena, Following the 8am daily mass at St. Bernard Parish at St. Camillus Church and after all Sundays masses.
O Holy Mary of Guadalupe,
You first came to us as a mother expecting her child. You are the Patroness of all expectant mothers and unborn children. Millions of these children, O Mary, will be rejected by their parents and perish in the terrible scourge of abortion. Pray for parents, O Mary. Let them realize their child is a gift and blessing from God. Help them to rear their child in the fear and love of God so that he may one day return to God who made him. Console the poor parents who have lost their child through abortion.
Let them see the terrible folly of their decision. Lead them to forgiveness and healing through the Divine Mercy of Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Through Your Immaculate Conception, O Mary, You crushed the head of the serpent. Crush and destroy abortion in the Americas and throughout the whole world. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee. Amen

Former Holyoke police chief says President Obama created era of mistrust in race relations
By Anthony R. Scott, Guest View Point, The Republican, Jan. 8, 2015
I have been putting off writing this op-ed piece for the past several months hoping in vain that our President and Attorney Eric Holder would become real leaders and not continue down the racist road they have been traveling. However the most recent police murders in New York City have prompted me to break my silence. I did not vote for President Obama when he first ran nor did I vote for him in 2012. When he was first elected I hoped that as a person of color he would move race relations forward and become a good, if not great, president. Needless to say I was wrong as the undeniable evidence soon began to mount. I am a person of color and a retired member of the law enforcement community. I took notice of his inaction towards the violence within his home city of Chicago and what I believe to be his stealth contempt of law enforcement.

God Bless America,
Jay G.
