Social conservatives defect after GOP candidate for Mass. Lt. Gov. flip-flops on gay ‘marriage’
BOSTON, December 12, 2013 ( – For Massachusetts’s social conservatives, it was the straw that broke the camel’s back: Karyn Polito, Republican candidate for lieutenant governor and former state senator, recently reversed her long-held opposition to same-sex “marriage” and announced she now favors the redefinition of marriage to include homosexual couples. Now, pro-family activists are threatening to withdraw their support for Polito and her running mate, gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker, and back political novice Mark Fisher instead.

Dec 21 Sat noon-1pm - “Empty Bed Caroling” Main St Fitchburg at the public parking garage across from Planned Parenthood, in remembrance of all children who have died due to a miscarriage, illness, and violence. This month is the first anniversary of the Sandy Hook School shootings. We are sending a message to the children’s parents and families that they have not been forgotten, neither has their beloved children. The caroling will be held unless a severe snow storm happens.
