Prayers up to those fighting this. Just in general, I feel bad for Fitchburg and its residents. Who wants to live a near a Planned Parenthood, no matter your thoughts or opinions on abortion. With Mass Health Reform, 97% of residents have health insurance. They already have primary care doctors/gyns, you only go to PP if you want to hide (yes, even from your own doctor an abortion). MassHealth covers abortions, so I don't understand why they need the outreach.
Basically PP and Massachusetts is is saying Fitchburg is a trashy/classless city, so infested with unwarranted breeding and STDs that it constituted the federal government to come in with out reach.
for the life long residents of Fitchburgs and residents, they deserve better the a Planned Parenthood.
Who am I to talk, we got PP as sex ed here in Lowell under the guise of comprehensive education.
I heard from the Alliance Defense Fund and they would like to hear more from those who actually participated in the Fitchburg City Council meetings and who felt they were being discriminated against.
I received an email which said (in part):
