Abortion in our Time

I was going to comment on Judge Sonia Sotomayor's nomination to the Supreme Court, but will only say I think it's obvious she is for a racial preference system, but she is an unknown as far as abortion – though I find it difficult to believe President Obama would nominate anyone who was not in full support of abortion.

What is now the most troublesome news is that the Nation's worst late-term abortionist, Dr. George Tiller, has been assassinated. I completely condemn this violence, but greatly fear that the abortion industry will use this tragic death for political gain, broadly painting all Pro-Life advocates as violent sociopaths. The abortion industry will do this to silence all criticism of abortion on demand, and use it as cover to make all abortions a right, one paid for with tax money in a National Health plan, and that conscientious objectors will be forced to engage is what they know is morally evil, or be fired.

In other words, I do not believe the words in Obama's Notre Dame Speech, I believe his actions of reversing the Mexico City Policy as well as his reversal of the Conscience clause instituted by the Bush Administration before the transition to the Obama administration.

Mt 10:22 comes to mind: "And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved." In other words Adversity will come but Hope will spring in the midst of this Adversity.
