Constitutional Convention 11/09/06

sample email:

Dear Rep.__,

I urge you to let the People vote! Please do not close the Nov. 9th Constitutional Convention before voting on the Marriage Petition Amendment. Without the participation of Massachusetts citizens, the redefinition of marriage to include same-sex individuals will never be accepted by our Nation as a civil right. Same-sex marriage will remain the illegitimate and coerced privilege of elite Judicial activism by four Commonwealth of Massachusetts Justices. Let the people vote!
Sincerely,

Polls show that the proposed amendment would be defeated in the general election. Let it die avoid to the embarassment to the pro-family movement and the Catholic Church.

This death will certainly add to the illegitimacy of the victory of gay marriage proponents, which I can't say I mind, but the cost is very high in terms of respect for the Law.
