Abortion made easy

Abortion made easy for Massachusetts' teens. This Boston Herald report shows how a state-funded sex education Web site, mariatalks.com, tells teens an abortion is “much easier than it sounds”, while downplaying all risks, while explaining how to bypass parental approval: “It may be really hard for you to imagine talking to either your parents or a judge about getting an abortion, but there are people who can help you through it.”
Lifesite news article

And what kind of judges is Deval Patrick proposing for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court? Undistinguished legal minds as long as they are openly homosexual.

Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick has nominated a well-known lesbian judge, Barbara Lenk, to the Supreme Judicial Court. Lenk is currently an appellate court judge, who was appointed by Bill Weld. This also appears to be part of a recent national push to appoint openly homosexual judges. Lenk's confirmation hearing before the Governor's Council will be Wednesday, April 27 at the State House. Easter 2011

Happy Easter.
40 Days for Life wrap up - the story told again and again, a young woman walks out of the abortion mill, usually in tears, who walks past the praying volunteers and says something like "Don't worry! I didn't get an abortion."
From Shawn Carney "MORE THAN FOUR THOUSAND BABIES SPARED FROM ABORTION!"
From Worcester 40 Days "Our spring campaign is finished; no parishes are scheduled to vigil in front of Planned Parenthood until the fall campaign, which will run from Sept 28-Nov 6. Now, as we enter into Holy Week, and reflect on the events of Christ’s passion, let us also remember there is a present day Calvary on Pleasant St. It is our sincere hope that you will continue to come and pray on a regular basis as you did during the last 40 days. Planned Parenthood is counting on us packing up and leaving.
Many of you have thanked us for our work in this campaign... It has been our privilege to work with each you. You have been a source of inspiration to us.
You have seen God work in your own church or parish, turning your spark of interest into a flame. We have been blessed to see how God has worked to bring everyone together, to see the flame of each church spread to become a burning fire, and we love what we see!"
Great pictures here, contact us at prolifeworcester@comcast.net, and see you during Fall 40 Days for Life Sept 28-Nov 6.

Scott Brown no longer Pro-Choice, but Pro-Abortion

Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) ran a platform that claimed he was Pro-Choice, but a various points during the campaign and during his tenure in the Senate, he indicated that he was different than the Democrats who support the abortion lobby and Planned Parenthood. We Pro-Lifers believed we had someone whom we could vote for as a prudential judgement, as Scott would be against Tax payer funded abortion, and he would not promote the anti-human rights campaign of Planned Parenthood.

However with Scott's recent vote to allow Planned Parenthood to continue receiving tax payer funding for their abortion business, despite the record deficits our Federal government has racked up, and despite Scott's claim to at least be a fiscal conservative, it has become clear that Scott Brown has gone from Pro-Choice to Pro-Abortion, and no respectable Pro-Lifer can support or vote for him.

It's is very small consolation to note that Brown did vote AGAINST funding abortions overseas and in Washington, DC. but his vote to continue to give tax funding to the abortion business indicates he is Pro-Abortion.

Recently a pro-lifer related how she "got a mailing from John McCain asking for money to support Scott Brown. I immediately wrote on the return slip that I could no longer support the senator after he voted to support Planned Parenthood with taxpayers' money. I am mailing it back today. If you feel moved to do so, maybe you could mention in the newsletter that anyone else who receives a similar mailing might consider doing the same. If he gets enough of them he might think twice the next time a vote like this comes up. Otherwise he will be a one termer-- When are the Republicans going to get their ducks in a row-- ALLLLLLL the dems (even "pro-life" ones) voted their way."

I think this says it pretty well. Let McCain, and all the other Republicans who solicit donations that the Pro-Life vote is theirs to throw away, just like the Democrats did in 1992.

Problem Pregnancy vandalized

Problem Pregnancy, 495 Pleasant St. in Worcester, MA, was vandalized, apparently by Pro-Choice anarchist punks. Full Story by DaTechguy

GLSEN Facebook page links kids to same-sex hookups

And as parents have long feared, promotion of homosexual sex is not far behind with the Gay Straight Alliances being organized in High and Middle Schools. As the Illinois Family Association recently reported, The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network, GLSEN's Facebook page,

http://www.facebook.com/#!/gaystraightalliances?sk=photos

recently published links to explicit sites for "gay" hook-ups for kids. The page was altered shortly after pro-family groups publicized it, to remove the blatant invitations, but some of the pictures that were removed are below.

If you want to combat this sexual confusion used to corrupt children, please consider a donation.

40 Days

40 Days for Life update,
With just a few days left in the spring campaign, let us remember that when you get right down to it, abortion is a spiritual battle.
The idea of taking the life of an innocent human being under the guise of compassion, choice or "reproductive rights" could have only been devised by Satan himself.
We know of Christ’s love for women and their children. We also know that in the end, life wins.
Over these last few days, let us persevere -- and "put on the full armor of God," as Paul tells us -- and know that victory is assured!

Worcester 40 Days update:
Thursday, April 7 – What a great day to be outside, and parishioners from a number of parishes were there to enjoy the sunshine while they prayed. Prayer volunteers from Our Lady of Czestochowa, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/St. Ann, and Blessed Sacrament were there along with parishioners from St. Michael’s in Mendon, St. Mary’s in Shrewsbury, and St. Mary’s in Uxbridge. As the group was praying the rosary just before noon, Eileen, a counselor at Problem Pregnancy, came out to ask that we pray for a woman who was there undergoing an ultrasound to check the viability of her baby. She already had an appointment at Planned Parenthood for an abortion. Because she did not drink enough water in preparation for her ultrasound, the baby’s image was not clear, although the heartbeat could be detected. She was invited back for a repeat ultrasound; however she left with the intention of keeping her appointment for the abortion. Please pray that she has a change of heart.
Fr. Joseph Mahoney, senior priest at St. Stephen’s, came by later with Dan Fullen, the “grandfather” of 40 Days for Life in Worcester. Dan’s son, Paul Fullen, and his wife Crystal, brought 40 Days for Life to Worcester in 2008, and they directed the first five campaigns. Fr. Ed Chalmers, pastor of St. Stephen’s, came to pray at the vigil in the afternoon, bringing the total number of St. Stephen’s vigilers to eight. Pauline Morris, Campaign Director, was there that day and brought her camera along.

Apr 14 Thu 11AM pray the rosary with Bishop McManus during 40 Days for Life, Pleasant St.
Apr 15 Fri 4PM "40 Days for Life" Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Celebrant is Fr. Laurence Breault; music by Assumption Schola Gregoriana. A Eucharistic procession around the block of Planned Parenthood immediately following the Mass. All are welcome. Area priests are invited to concelebrate the Mass.

vigil in Tempe despite the busyness of life, dropping her older child at preschool taking her still pajama-clad 8-month-old daughter to the vigil. But Charlotte did not have a sign, like all the others praying there.

"Passersby started smiling and waving," wrote Charlotte. "I looked down to kiss the very active 8-month-old in my arms and realized my daughter had learned to wave!" And not just a little wave -- an energetic, both-hands-and-both-arms wave. That's when it hit me that my 8-month-old was smiling, waving, laughing and ministering to every person who looked at her, My baby said more than any sign could have. She is proof of God's amazing work. She may not understand
it yet, but she could have saved lives." At that point Charlotte realized she had the
best sign!"
